PUBLISH is pleased to announce the launch of PUBLISHchain, a high-performance, consortium blockchain catering to the media industry.

With a TPS (transactions per second) of 3,000, PUBLISHchain has been designed with data-intensive media applications in mind. At the time of writing, these include an SSI (self-sovereign-identity) solution, a token reward system, a news content notarization service, and an NFT minting service.

Commenting on the launch, PUBLISH CIO Jaden Yu remarked that “PUBLISHchain came about as a response to growing calls for media transparency”, adding that there is also a need for “high performance, special-purpose blockchains that are both fast and scalable.”
