PUBLISH, in partnership with TokenPost, is pleased to announce the issuance of a new NFT (non-fungible token) to mark the 10th Coastal Safety Day.
Coastal Safety Day was instituted by the Act on Prevention of Accidents at Coastal Sea. The law came into existence following a tragic event on 18 July 2013, when five high school students participating in a swimming lesson off South Korea's west coast were tragically swept out to sea by a powerful current, leading to their untimely deaths.
The act advocates for coastal accident prevention activities in coastal waters and serves as a catalyst for reinforcing safety awareness. These efforts culminate in the annual Coastal Safety Day and Safety Inspection Week, held during the third week of July.
Information on marine safety, including topics such as tide changes, sea openings, and rip currents, is available on the National Oceanographic Research Institute's website (https://www.khoa.go.kr).
The "Good Day NFT Campaign" is a joint initiative by PUBLISH and TokenPost, aimed at highlighting significant domestic and international events and holidays through the issuance and distribution of commemorative NFTs and digital artwork.
